An electric barge made its maiden voyage in the Netherlands. The design of the vessel was developed by a local company based in Rotterdam. The barge is designed for transportation on inland waterways. It will transport about a hundred containers of beer daily. The ship’s two batteries can be charged at night when the barge is moored.
